Berremma? is a multimedia installation exploring diaspora, memory, and personal testimony versus recorded history. Positioned in the gallery center, a sofa covered in a mapped mosquito net faces a table with historical texts by Persatuan Bawean Singapura and a pair of headphones. Projection mapping depicts the artist seated beside the headphones, creating a scene of intimacy and mediated presence.

This is a work in progress and being refined for a future exhibition/space.

Di Mana Keluargaku Merantau is a video essay addresses the space that is connected to memory within the changing landscapes in Singapore. Tracing the generational history from being a local in a rural village in Bawean Island to migrating to the constantly developing and heavily urbanised land of Singapore (that developed from a village to a concrete jungle in the past 60 years), these changes have resulted in my family's Bawean diasporic status.

This was an official selection for Queer East 2025 as part of Counter Archives

This is an expansion of Balik ke Pondok where I was documenting the changes of architecture of my grandfather’s pondok in Singapore.

“We have had to constantly move from place to place and adapt to our surroundings. It is inevitable that these fast changes have resulted in the erasure and forgetting of our indigenous, native culture. This installation is a documentation of such changes of architecture as it evolved and how it affects my identity as a 3rd generation immigrant in Singapore and my memories of my heritage.” Huda Osni

This was organised by BEAF organisation in Boscombe part of Connected Roots exhibition. Thank you for those that was involved the past two years for making this possible x

STOLEN FROM THE TABLE explores the theft of identity caused by colonialism and diaspora, represented through the appropriation of food by the British. Among these losses, the Roti Bawean remains a strong connection to the artist and cannot be taken from them. The work is presented as a timelapse video.

This was showcased in various cities in the UK from 2023 to 2026. From Hypha Studios London in collaborated with Shoes Off Colective to Soverign Centre Boscombe and was Arts University Bournemouth International Exhibition.

HABITUE

PHOTOGRAPHY, 2023
Habitue is dedicated to people that inspired me to help my life get by.
From inspiring me to pick up a guitar again to picking up a main role in a musical to small encounters on the streets. I am so fascinated by what everyone has to offer and despite me not being as close to them,i admire every person that i’ve talked to due to their ways of life.
Although, my memories may fade and my memories with my emotions may alter through time. I believe these memories are my motivation to keep going
because seeing these different beliefs ( whether i agree or not), seeing every human emotion they pour to me or seeing the passion that fuels them to make what they love makes me want to
learn more about everyone and want to help and improve myself and others. This is for them. As aware as I am with how bad I am with my words, at least let my work speak for you.
